Pierre Henri Ginglinger Pinot Gris Sec 2024
In 1610 the Ginglinger family planted their first vines in the area of Eguisheim in Alsace. Mathieu Ginglinger — the 12th generation — took over the running of the 15-hectare estate from his father Pierre Henri, and in 2001 the entire vineyards and wines were awarded Ecocert organic certification. Pinot Gris is one of Alsace's four noble grape varieties — producing wines of real richness, texture, and complexity that are quite unlike Pinot Grigio from Italy.
About This Wine
An organic Pinot Gris Sec from one of Alsace's most celebrated family estates — dry, rich, and textured, with the smoky, honeyed complexity that defines great Alsace Pinot Gris. Intense golden yellow in colour with a long, fruity finish. A wine of real character and food-friendliness.
