Chardonnay
Chardonnay is used predominantly in Burgundy in wines such as Chablis, Pouilly Fuisse and the classic premier and grand crus. It's now grown all over the world as it is an easy grape to cultivate and friendly when making wine. Chardonnay is a high-quality white grape that makes a range of wine styles. Depending on climate, notes of citrus, green apple and pear to peach and other tropical fruits define Chardonnay. It is often oak aged to varying degrees.
