Cath's journey to The Wine Buff Kilkenny from an ex-geography teacher, insurance advisor, mom's taxi and blow in from Gautent, South Africa, is a tale of wine.

Her childhood memories are filled with Sundays around the Tervit family table toasting with Mum's favourite Late Harvest or Auslese in tiny wine glasses, her dad making plum wine, visiting wine regions and cellars picking copper-red "glippertjie" (Catawba/Semillon) grapes, in the summer sunshine in their garden in South Africa.

Cath's passion is to share her love of wine knowledge. She loves being in the shop, a bit of heaven, where the saying love what you do, and you won't work a day in your life, is coming true!!!
