Terras de Lantano Albarino 2024
Terras de Lantaño is a family winery in Rías Baixas dedicated to single-varietal wines. Owner Ramiro Martínez Señorans built his fortune in the Spanish meat industry before turning his attention to the vines on his property — initially making wine for personal consumption. Demand from friends soon prompted him to restore the historic Bodegas Terras de Lantaño, which he refurbished with traditional character and modern technology, producing his first commercial vintage in 2003. The grapes for this wine come from the estate's oldest vineyards, harvested by hand with careful field selection, then fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees for a minimum of three months.
About This Wine
A classic expression of Rías Baixas Albariño — bright, aromatic, and built for the table. The extended lees ageing adds texture and complexity while preserving the variety's signature freshness.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Golden yellow
Nose: Fruity aromas with a floral background — stone fruit, white blossom, and a hint of citrus zest
Palate: Fresh and complex, with good acidity and a clean, mineral-driven structure
Finish: Long, fruity, and pleasant
Food Pairing
A natural match for seafood and fish — think grilled sea bass, prawns, or a classic fish pie. Also works well with soft cheeses and light tapas.
