Aligote
Aligoté is a white grape variety predominantly grown in Burgundy, France. It produces wines with a pale lemon colour and a refreshing, crisp character. Aligoté wines are known for their vibrant acidity, offering flavours of green apple, citrus, and hints of white flowers. Often enjoyed as a dry and unoaked wine, Aligoté pairs well with seafood, salads, and light appetisers. It is also the primary grape used in the production of the classic French cocktail known as Kir.
