Anselmi Ca-Stele Pinot Nero
Friuli is located in the Northeast of Italy and sometimes has more in common with its neighbours in Slovenia and Austria than with the rest of Northern Italy. It was part of the Austrian - Hungarian empire and only became part of Italy after World War One.
It is the only region of Italy to label its wine by grape variety.
This wine is characterised by its delicate nature, offering subtle hints of blueberry and raspberry that create a vibrant fruit profile. These berry flavours are complemented by gentle notes of vanilla, lending a smooth finish. There is also a slight earthiness present, reminiscent of a classic Pinot Noir from Burgundy, which adds depth and complexity to the overall tasting experience.
