Pierre Henri Ginglinger Cremant

AOC Cremant d’Alsace is one of the sparkling wine appellations in France. The wine can be made from six grape varieties: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay. Grapes are normally picked at the beginning of the harvest to achieve maximum balance between alcohol and acidity.

At Pierre Henri Ginglinger they use Pinot Noir, Pinot Auxerrois and Riesling to make their Brut Cremant. Its fizz is derived from the addition of a “liqueur de tirage”, made from a mix of natural yeast and sugar, which results in a second fermentation in the bottle, which is the true champagne method, bottle aging lasts 18-20 months, followed by remuage (turning the bottles) and disgorging (removing the yeast from the bottles).

Straw coloured with and elegant fine bead of bubbles. On the nose fresh light and fruity on the palate delicate and fruity with green apple, peach and flower notes.
