Bical is a white grape variety primarily grown in the Beira region of Portugal, particularly in the sub-regions of Bairrada and Dão. It produces wines with a pale straw colour and exhibits a fresh and lively character. Bical wines often showcase citrus fruit flavours, such as lemon and grapefruit, with a touch of floral and mineral notes. With a medium body and balanced acidity, Bical wines can be enjoyed on their own or paired with a variety of seafood and light dishes.
