Domaine La Tuque Bel Air 2023

For a long time the wines of Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux were used only to enhance Saint-Émilion blends in poor years. But from the 1970s, local growers made serious efforts to improve quality, and in just a few decades Castillon has become a serious competitor in the region — producing wines of genuine depth and character at outstanding value. Domaine La Tuque Bel Air is a fine example: 90% Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 12 months in oak barrels to soften the characteristic tannins of the appellation.
