Carignan, also known as Carignane, is a robust red grape with its deep purple hue and pronounced tannins, Carignan produces wines with bold flavours of dark berries, black cherries, and a touch of spice. It adds depth and structure to blends and can also be crafted into rich, full-bodied single-varietal wines that showcase its unique characteristics.
