Furmint

Furmint is a white grape variety most notably associated with the production of Tokaj wines in Hungary. With its golden colour and complex aromatics, Furmint offers a fascinating combination of ripe orchard fruits, honeyed notes, and hints of spice. It is highly prized for its high acidity, which contributes to the creation of lusciously sweet dessert wines as well as dry and off-dry styles with vibrant fruit character and remarkable aging potential.
