Poderi Parpinello 'Ale' Isola dei Nuraghi Orange Wine 2023
Poderi Parpinello is a family estate with 35 hectares of vineyards spread across three distinct locations on the Alghero coast of Sardinia — by the sea near Castelsardo, near the coast by Lake Baratz, and in the municipality of Janna de Mare between Alghero and Sassari. The geographical diversity of the vineyards, combined with sixty years of family experience, gives the wines their unique freshness, structure, and minerality.
About This Wine
The 'Ale' is a wonderfully clean orange wine made from indigenous Sardinian varieties — Vermentino and Torbato — mash fermented and aged on fine yeast for over six months. This skin-contact process creates a bright honey-coloured wine with fruity, floral, and balsamic notes, a balanced tannin structure, and a delicate acidity. Well-integrated and expressive, it is a wine of real individuality and character.
