Grown mainly in Italy, produces tannic acidic wines with great aging potential, especially in Piemonte in northern Italy the home of Barolo and Barbaresco. Liquorice, prunes and figs are often used to describe the flavour. At The Wine Buff we source and select all our wines direct from our partner winemakers, who mainly practice sustainable farming.
