Benefiting from a sunny, maritime climate, the picturesque valley vineyards of Nelson make some of New Zealand’s most freshly scented Sauvignon Blanc wines. It lies just east of the Marlborough wine region.

The Nelson region is renowned for it's bountiful crops and orchards and in the 1970's some pioneering grape growers established the modern wine industry, which have now grown into award winning wines from New Zealand.
