Named in personal tribute, this is a wine that carries real meaning alongside exceptional quality: a Merlot and Cabernet Franc blend from the limestone and clay soils of Saint-Émilion, crafted to express the depth, elegance, and ageing potential that makes this appellation one of the world’s great wine regions.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep ruby red with garnet hues.
Nose: Classic Saint-Émilion — ripe dark plum, blackcurrant, and a subtle earthy complexity with hints of cedar and warm spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied and well-structured with generous dark fruit and integrated tannins. The Merlot brings roundness and depth, while the Cabernet Franc adds freshness and a subtle herbal lift. Excellent natural balance.
Finish: Long and satisfying with a velvety, persistent close.

Food Pairing

A natural partner for the classic Bordeaux table — roast lamb, grilled red meats, or aged hard cheeses. Also excellent with slow-braised beef, duck confit, or a rich mushroom-based dish. Decant for an hour before serving to allow the wine to fully open.
