Van Zeller White Port

Van Zellers White Port is blend of wines produced with many different grape varieties from vineyards of around 15 to 50 years of age. Varieties include, Gouveio, Rabigato, Viosinho, amongst others, mixed planted in the vineyard. The individual wines are aged in oak barrels for an average of three years, where the young fruit of the White Port is maintained, but a mellowness is also captured.

With notes of apricots and floral notes such as lilac and violets this White Port is quite complex. Like all young Ports, Van Zellers White Port can be enjoyed for some weeks after opening, if kept in good storage conditions. Try having it as an aperitif with almonds and pates and served very cold (around 8ºC), or as a digestive with different fruit pies and cakes.
