Domaine Franck Millet Sancerre 2025
Domaine Franck Millet is a family estate in Bué — one of Sancerre's finest and steepest villages. Franck and his wife Betty are the third generation of the family to carry on the winemaking traditions in their Loire Valley vineyards, farming traditionally and producing Sauvignon Blanc of real precision and character.
About This Wine
A classic Sancerre from the celebrated Bué commune — 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown on the limestone and flint soils that give Sancerre its distinctive mineral character. Crisp, precise, and intensely aromatic, this is a textbook example of what makes Sancerre one of the world's great white wine appellations.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale yellow-green with a bright, fresh appearance
Nose: Classic Sancerre — gooseberry, citrus, and a mineral, flinty edge
Palate: Crisp and precise with excellent acidity and clean fruit
Finish: Long, dry, and mineral
Food Pairing
The classic match for fish, seafood, and goat's cheese. The mineral precision and fresh acidity also make it excellent with oysters and light white meats.
