Mas du Novi Prestigi 2020

The vineyard of St Jean du Noviciat produces fantastic wines under the name ‘Mas du Novi’. This exceptional terroir is situated in Montagnac, embedded in the Languedoc landscape just west of Montpellier. Its history can be traced back to the era of the Cathars and Crusaders and the land was once part of a vast Cistercian abbey, the Prestigi is a selection of the best red grape varities, handpicked from the vineyard.

The Wine Buff Tip: Drank the 2011 in 2023 and was excellent so ages really well.

A deeply coloured red, with a nose of red and black fruits, chocolate and toasty oak with a whiff of leather. Silky texture with great length of dried red fruit.
