Delta Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Neal Ibbotson and his wife Judy were among the earliest private grape growers in Marlborough, first planting vines in 1978 and founding partners of the Delta Wine Company. They built a state-of-the-art winery in 2005, where Delta wines have been crafted from the 2015 vintage onwards. Winemaker Heather Stewart has led a remarkable journey — from art history and a Master's in Psychology, to travelling the world, to a cellar-hand vintage in Marlborough that ignited her passion for wine. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Oenology, spent ten years at Saint Clair Family Estate, and has worked vintages in Chianti Classico and California's Santa Ynez Valley before joining Delta in 2015.
