Vinho Verde

Vinho Verde, is the modern name for the historic region of Minho, located in the north of Portugal west of the Duoro valley. Wines have been grown here for centuries and were mentioned as far back as the first century AD. Today, modern wine making techniques are utilised and wines are exported all over the world. It is a cool climate region producing acidic wines with low alcohol and fresh crisp fruit. Perfect summer wines.  ​
