Villa Erbice Monte Tombole Valpolicella 2020
It was back in 1870 when grandpa Narciso Erbice began to make wines in a historical Venetian villa which dates back to the 17th century. Brothers Silvio and Alberto Erbice are the current custodians of the family vineyards and winery.
The vineyards for the Villa Erbice Monte Tombole Valpolicella Superiore were planted between 1978 and 1989. The grapes are picked and sorted manually into small crates in October and is fermented in barrels for 18 months. After bottling, the bottles are left for at least six months before been sold.
The colour is a deep red with violet tints. The aroma is intense with ripe red fruit of cherry and plum. The taste is full with great softness and balance.
