Tried 4 different services to send some wine as a gift to a family member for their birthday. I wanted same day delivery.
The only one that came up trumps was Galway Wine Buff.
They delivered that evening , added a lovely card and sent me a pic of the gift and card and confirmation of delivery via WhatsApp.

The Wine Buff is a wonderfully unique boutique collection for everyone’s budget. Whether you’re looking for €18 bottle or a €50 bottle. The best part of the Wine Buff is the wine buff herself, Tugba! Very knowledgeable and very personable, we went back twice! We talked wine and travel and graduate school (she has two masters degrees!) and received lovely recommendations! We highly recommend the Wine Buff and Tugba!

I was just walking through the Port, minding my own business, when I happened to spot this lovely little wine shop. The lovely lady helped me choose a bottle of my favourite variety, Primitivo.
