Pierre Henri Ginglinger Riesling 2024

The Ginglinger family have been growing vines in the village of Eguisheim in Alsace since 1610 — over 400 years of winemaking heritage. The 12th generation is now in the hands of Mathieu Ginglinger, who took over the 15-hectare estate from his father Pierre Henri. In 2001, the entire estate was awarded Eco Cert organic certification, a commitment to the land that runs as deep as the family roots.

About This Wine

Riesling is the king of Alsace, and this is a textbook example — dry, precise, and built to age. Organically farmed on the limestone and clay soils around Eguisheim, the grapes develop excellent natural acidity and aromatic complexity. This is a wine with real depth and a long future ahead of it.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale yellow with a fresh green tint.
Nose: Aromatic and expressive — citrus zest, steely green apple, and delicate floral notes.
Palate: Dry and fresh with excellent depth, crisp acidity, and a mineral backbone.
Finish: Long, clean, and persistent — classic Riesling character that will reward cellaring.

Food Pairing

A natural match for Asian cuisine, grilled fish, seafood, charcuterie, and aged cheeses. The dry, mineral style cuts through rich and spiced dishes with ease.
