Graciano
Graciano is one of Spain's most prized yet underappreciated red grape varieties, grown primarily in Rioja and Navarra. Despite its challenging cultivation—low yields and late ripening—Graciano produces deeply coloured, aromatic wines with exceptional structure and ageing potential.
Known for its vibrant acidity and intense aromatics, Graciano brings notes of dark fruit, blackberry, violet, and spice to blends. While rarely bottled as a single varietal, it plays a crucial role in premium Rioja blends, contributing freshness, structure, and longevity when paired with Tempranillo and Garnacha.
These elegant, food-friendly wines pair beautifully with grilled meats, game, and aged Manchego cheese.
