Chablis Wines
The Chablis wine region is the most northern of the Burgundy appellations. French Chablis wines are known for their unique, mineral-driven flavours (often described as gunflint) and are made from the Chardonnay grape.
The Chablis region has four distinct levels of appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru.
Chablis is famously food-friendly, complementing a wide range of dishes, from seafood to poultry and cheeses. The wines have good aging potential and will develop complexity and richness over time.
