Broadbent Rainwater Madeira

Rainwater Madeira takes its name from a happy historical accident — barrels left exposed to rain produced a lighter, more delicate style that proved enormously popular, particularly in the American market. Broadbent's Rainwater is made from Tinta Negra, aged three years in oak, and offers an approachable introduction to the world of Madeira without sacrificing the complexity that makes this fortified wine so unique.

About This Wine

Medium dry in style, the Rainwater sits between Madeira's sweeter and drier expressions — fresh enough to serve as an aperitif, yet rich enough to pair with food or enjoy on its own. Built on Madeira's characteristic core of tart acidity, it avoids the heaviness of a dessert wine while delivering real depth and character.

Tasting Notes
