Casar de Burbia Godello 2024
Casar de Burbia was founded in 2002 by Nemesio Fernández in Bierzo — the rugged, mountainous wine region in north-west Spain that has emerged as one of the country's most exciting appellations for indigenous varieties. The estate farms organically, working with Godello vines on clay soils with medium stones at approximately 600 metres altitude.
About This Wine
An organic Godello from Bierzo — cold macerated, fermented at low temperature in stainless steel for 45 days, then aged on lees for 8–9 months to develop creamy complexity. Godello is one of Spain's most exciting white grapes, producing wines of real depth and mineral character that reward careful winemaking. A wine of genuine elegance and food-friendly versatility.
