Setzer Flegengewicht Gruner Veltliner 2023

The Setzer family have been working the lands in Hohenwarth, in the heart of Austria's Weinviertel, since 1705. What began as a farming and livestock operation with small vineyards evolved into a dedicated wine estate in 2001, when the family focused 100% on viticulture and winemaking. Hohenwarth sits at 400 metres above sea level, giving it a unique microclimate that produces wines of real freshness and mineral precision. Fliegengewicht — "flyweight" in boxing terms — captures the spirit of this wine perfectly: light in alcohol, but packing a big punch.

About This Wine
