Bodegas Ontañón Rioja Gran Reserva 2015
Bodegas Ontañón is a fifth-generation family estate with deep roots in Quel, in the Rioja Oriental. Gran Reservas are produced only in the finest vintages and represent the pinnacle of the estate's wine-making — wines that have spent a minimum of five years in the winery (three in barrel and two in bottle) before release. This extended ageing lends a quality of subtle spice, integrated tobacco, and dried fruit complexity that only time can produce.
About This Wine
A benchmark Rioja Gran Reserva from one of the appellation's most respected family producers — Tempranillo and Garnacha from the finest plots on the slopes of the Sierra Yerga, aged to perfection. Voluptuous, complex, and age-worthy, this is a wine of genuine elegance and depth.
