Château Lynch Bages Pauillac 2018
Located in Pauillac, Lynch Bages has left its mark on the history of the Médoc. Although the terroir of Bages has been known since the 16th century, it was in the 18th century that it gained fame, with the son of an Irish citizen named Thomas Lynch owning the vineyard.
(72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot) | 75% new oak for 18 months. A stunning Cabernet nose for this imposing wine. Exquisite fruit concentration coupled with massive length make this a bit of a beast. Big and balanced with rather racy tannins and a lot of oak, this is a great vintage Lynch Bages.
