Château Maison Neuve Montagne St Emilion 2020

Château Maison Neuve is a substantial estate in Montagne Saint-Émilion, the largest of the Saint-Émilion satellite appellations, with 72 hectares of vines — 62 in Montagne Saint-Émilion and the remainder in Lalande-de-Pomerol and Pomerol. The family can trace its winemaking roots back to the 16th century and takes its responsibility for the land seriously, farming with complete respect for the environment under HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification.

About This Wine

A classic Right Bank Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Montagne Saint-Émilion's most established estates. Rich, bold, and food-friendly, this is a wine that delivers the character of Saint-Émilion at a more accessible price point — excellent value from a region that remains underappreciated.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Bold garnet red
Nose: Rich dark fruit with hints of coffee and ripe stone fruit
Palate: Ripe dark stone fruit and berry with great balance and a firm, succulent body
Finish: Long and satisfying with lingering fruit

Food Pairing

Excellent with lamb and red meat. The structure and dark fruit also make it a great match for roast pork and aged cheeses.
