Domaine Moulin Camus La Muse Cabernet Franc 2022

Cabernet Franc is grown extensively in the Loire region but not so much in the Muscadet growing region. This Cabernet Franc is planted on schist-based soils, giving the wine a notable gravelly texture, yet manages to retain freshness, fruit, and the Cabernet Franc characteristics. Catherine & Francois Boulanger are the husband-and-wife team who manage the vineyard, respect for nature is their number one priority, chemicals are not used thanks to grass between the vine rows and to natural stimulants which activate vine defences.

This wine is packed with flavour, punchy blackcurrant, raspberry, hints of tobacco and black cherries. Medium bodied, mellow tannins, juicy red berries, fresh and supple palate. Try it ever so slightly chilled.
