The Wine Buff Selection Cuvee Paddy Jack Castillon 2023

Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux sits east of Saint-Émilion, sharing its limestone and clay soils and producing wines of similar character at a fraction of the price. The special cuvées in The Wine Buff Selection range are made in honour of people who helped us on our journey since we opened our first shop in Limerick back in 2000. This one was created by Paddy — with the help of a renowned local winemaker — selecting the best grapes from the appellation to craft a wine named after his son, Paddy Jack.

About This Wine

A medium-bodied Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux from Merlot and Cabernet Franc — round, supple, concentrated, and complex with medium to soft tannins. A personal project with real heart behind it, and excellent value from one of Bordeaux’s most exciting appellations. Excellent to drink now and will age well over the next few years.
