The translation of Primitivo is "early ripening" since the grapes accumulate a lot of sugar early in the season and the resulting wines are big, rich and fruit driven.

A rich full bodied intense red, with a striking nose of figs, blueberries and stewed blackberry. A blast of blackcurrant on the palate and an excellent fruit driven finish with a hint of coconut.
