Baccichetto Pinot Grigio 2023
The vineyard is situated in the more southern part of the Friuli region, between the inlets of the River Stella in the village of Borgo Titiano near Precenicco. Vittorino Baccichetto founded the business with his wife Anita, they have passed down to their sons Paolo and Alessandro the sense of duty and respect for their traditions: experience built up over time, hard work and healthy love for the land.
During a shot stay in Lignano, Ernest Hemingway, accompanied by his friend and driver Adamo De Simon, stopped in the local village of Borgo Titiano, where he became inebriated by the good wine and while he was contemplating he decided to leave this declaration to the Baccichetto family: "Wine is one of the most civilised things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection."
A lively, fresh wine, with a clean, white fruit bouquet. Dry smooth palate and complementary acidity.
