The Dão region sits in the heart of Portugal, surrounded by granite mountains that protect the vineyards from Atlantic rain and create a continental microclimate of warm days and cool nights. It is one of Portugal's most exciting white wine regions, producing wines of real elegance and mineral complexity from native grape varieties found nowhere else in the world. Chronus is made by Gota, a producer dedicated to showcasing the best of Dão's indigenous varieties.

About This Wine

A blend of Encruzado, Bical, and Malvasia Fina — three of Dão's finest native white grapes. Encruzado brings structure and complexity, Bical adds freshness and acidity, and Malvasia Fina contributes aromatic lift and floral charm. The result is a wine of finesse and character, with a mineral backbone that reflects the granite soils of the region.
