Montaribaldi 'Gambarin' Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

Montaribaldi is a family estate in Piedmont, producing wines from Nebbiolo — the noble grape of Barolo and Barbaresco — in the Langhe hills. The Gambarin Nebbiolo is a more accessible expression of the variety, aged in stainless steel for 3–4 months and then in barriques for at least 8 months, producing a wine that is released more than a year after harvest. A richer, fuller-bodied style of Langhe Nebbiolo that comes closer to the wines of Barolo and Barbaresco.

About This Wine

A sustainably farmed Langhe Nebbiolo from Piedmont — elegant and food-friendly, with the hallmark violet and raspberry aromatics of the variety and a spicy complexity from careful oak ageing. Soft, delicate tannins and a fresh, fruity palate make it approachable now while retaining the structure to age well over the next several years.
